Postel is a writing and scheduling tool for founders, consultants and creators who post as themselves. Connect it to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client and your assistant can search Postel's library of high-performing X posts for examples, draft X posts, threads and LinkedIn posts using your voice profile and knowledge base, save drafts to your content calendar, and schedule or publish them. Publishing goes through the official X and LinkedIn APIs with the permissions you grant in Postel. LinkedIn posts go to personal profiles; company pages are not supported. The server does not read your feed or messages and does not like, reply or follow. Drafting and research work within the free quota; scheduling and publishing need a paid plan or trial.

Schedule a Postel draft for publishing to the social platform stored on the post. Requires a plan that includes scheduling. scheduledDateTime must be a future UTC ISO-8601 timestamp.

publish-post

Publish a Postel draft immediately to the social platform stored on the post. Requires a plan that includes publishing. A post that is already published cannot be published again.

generate-post

Generate a new post using AI based on a prompt. Requires usage quota. Returns the generated post.

refine-post

Suggest refined content for an existing post using AI and specific instructions. Does not save changes. Requires usage quota.

list-brands

List all brands (topics) for the current organization. Brands contain background information used for AI post generation.

get-brand-sources

Get background information sources for a specific brand. These sources are used to inform AI post generation.

get-x-profiles

Get the X and LinkedIn voice profiles for the current organization. These profiles define the brand voice for AI post generation.
