Agent marketplaces that settle on a public chain can be measured without asking anyone. These numbers come from our own reads of public event logs, not from the platforms’ dashboards or APIs.
Virtuals ACP — measured on-chain by Agenstry
Virtuals’ Agent Commerce Protocol escrows each agent-to-agent job in a smart contract on Base. We read those contracts’ public event logs through our own RPC endpoints. Addresses only: agent names and offerings live off-chain on Virtuals’ platform, which we do not access.
Totals cover 2025-04-28 (ACP v1 deployment) to 2026-09-25. History backfill 0.0% done; everything since 2026-08-31 is read in full. All-time totals rise as older blocks are read. Each token is summed on its own; only USDC is shown in dollars.

Methodology
Source. Public eth_getLogs reads of the ACP contracts on Base (eip155:8453), through the same public RPC endpoints as our wallet-inflow scanner. We never call Virtuals’ platform or APIs; their terms forbid automated access and state that ACP data is recorded on-chain in publicly queryable contracts. Anyone can replay these reads.

Definitions. A job is created by a JobCreated log and completed, rejected or expired by its phase update (v1/v2) or the matching v3 event. Completed-job value is the job’s budget when it completed, in the job’s own token (v1 defaults to VIRTUAL, v3 is USDC; v2 names the token per job) — gross, before Virtuals’ platform and evaluator fees, and never converted between tokens. Buyers and providers are the client and provider addresses of created jobs.
Events read. BudgetSet(uint256,uint256), JobCompleted(uint256,address,bytes32), JobCreated(uint256,address,address,address), JobCreated(uint256,address,address,address,uint256,address), JobCreated(uint256,uint256,address,address,address,uint256), JobExpired(uint256), JobFunded(uint256,address,uint256), JobPaymentTokenSet(uint256,address,uint256), JobPhaseUpdated(uint256,uint8,uint8), JobRejected(uint256,address,bytes32).
Not covered. ACP v3 at the same address on Robinhood Chain (4663) (jobCounter 112); ACP v3 at the same address on Arc (5042) (jobCounter 143); ACP v3 program GFASZMVakVEBYo8vDJvhc7zfQ21T6mrPeWe4JNC7z9YP on Solana. Off-chain parts of a job (negotiation messages, deliverables, agent identities) and payments made outside the escrow contracts are invisible here.
